Last year's contest had over 1,100 entries, with participants cleaning up 8.5 tonnes of garbage in our area & won over $10,000 in cash & prizes! Thanks to amazing sponsors, this year’s annual event is again expected to have over $10,000 in cash prizes! Residents in Campbell River & the Comox Valley are encouraged to clean up garbage left in our listening area. Take before & after photos of your clean up anywhere in Campbell River, Comox Valley or the Strathcona Regional District & submit them to the contest page at Small Planet Energy dot ca or Small Planet Energy’s Facebook page & have a chance to win! 1st prize is $3000, 2nd prize is $1500, 3rd prize is $750, 4th prize is $400, 5th prize is $300 & there will be a $200 & $100 prize for the top children’s clean ups with gift certificates for the runners up.
