Friday, September 27th, the Campbell River & North Island Transition Society & the Kinette Club of Campbell River are presenting a film screening of ‘A Better Man’ at Rivercity Theatre.

The film focuses on a woman who confronts her ex-partner who’d abused her when they were 18, bringing forth the idea that the abuser can be part of the healing process. It starts at 6:30 pm, tickets are only $5, with all proceeds benefiting the supports & services the Campbell River & North Island Transition Society, to help women & children fleeing violent situation.
