Saturday, April 12th, the Campbell River Rotary Club presents Rotary in Motion at the Campbell River Community Centre.

Four local ethnically diverse restaurants will offer their food from booths, including Royal Aroma with Indian & Nepalese dishes, Nhau (Now) Vietnamese Kitchen & Bar with Vietnamese, the Kung Fu Café offering Korean & Yummy Shawarma Express with Moroccan dishes. Stonehouse Teas will provide desserts & hot drinks, while Beachside Brewing Company will provide cold refreshments. The 12 member Comox Valley band, ‘Time Well Wasted’, will provide live music, covering hits from the 60 to present day. There’ll also be games, silent & live auctions & more. Tickets are $60, doors open at 5:30pm & funds raised this year will be used to provide medical services in the Pokhara region of Nepal, with a focus on Women’s & Children’s health issues.
Money raised with be 100% matched through Rotary to a maximum match of USD $27,000. Rotary has partnered with ICO (based in Victoria), a CRA registered charity for this work in Nepal. Cash donations will receive a charitable tax receipt.
