Musical Theatre Stage Movement and Dance: for Both Dancers and Non-Dancers Alike!
So You Think You Can't Dance? Give this workshop a try.... and if you *are* a dancer, come strut your moves!
In this workshop we will explore the art of stage movement and dance in Musical Theatre. So often, those who do not have formal dance training find Choreo to be intimidating and overwhelming. Through the process of putting together a musical number, participants will learn how to "build" a number from the ground up. The group will explore the importance of character, movement and dance and use all participants to create a high energy dance number where everyone's skills are utilized to their full potential. This workshop will utilize both dancers and non-dancers to create a layered performance that showcases all, and have some fun during the afternoon!!
