Led by Rawan Hassan, Tatreez is a traditional form of Palestinian embroidery characterized by intricate geometric patterns and vibrant colours, often used to adorn traditional garments and serving as a cultural expression and symbol of Palestinian identity. Day one covers the history and basics of tatreez, including cross-stitch and symbols like the cypress tree and star. Day two allows learners to practice transferring their embroidery onto fabric with personalized guidance throughout. All supplies included.
