The Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock winds down its trek across Vancouver Island today.
Law enforcement and emergency services personnel have been on their bikes the last two weeks, travelling 12-hundred kilometres as they head into Victoria today, raising money for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society.
Ajinkya Chodankar from Courtenay Fire Rescue has been taking part as well as Kirk Wolstenholme from Parksville Fire Rescue.
At the time of this writing, the team has raised $877,828.98, on the way to their goal of $1 million.
The Tour de Rock has raised more than $28 million since 1998.
