The City of Campbell River is gearing up for the third edition of A Night Out Downtown, taking palce Thursday, February 6th.

Eight businesses along Shoppers Row and 11th Avenue will host entertainment and special offers starting at 4 p.m. and continuing until late.

“Bringing downtown Campbell River to life through events and partnerships with local businesses and artists is what downtown revitalization is all about,” says Mayor Kermit Dahl.

“This event is unique as it adds life to Shoppers Row on a typically quiet and cold night of the year. My wife and I, alongside members of Council, will be out visiting these great venues on February 6, and we hope to see all of you there, too!”

Attendees are encouraged to pick up a passport at their first stop and collect stamps at each location they visit.

With three stamps, you can enter to win gift certificates and other prizes from local merchants, with bonus entries for every additional stamp collected.

There will be a lot to enjoy at local businesses, like live music at Campbell River Candy Co., an open mic at The Campbell River Art Gallery, and local artists reading from their works at Coho Books.

The event is part of ongoing efforts by the City to animate the downtown core.
