It’s another snow day in Campbell River and The Comox Valley.
With the snowfall warning and forecast for significant snowfall throughout the day, all SD72 and SD71 schools are closed today.
Evening events or facility rentals for today are also cancelled.
Groups that have reserved the use of one of facilities should contact the school board office to reschedule or request a refund.
North Island College campuses in Campbell River, Comox Valley and Port Alberni are closed on Friday.
The forecast is calling for anywhere from 5 to 15 centimetres of snow through to Saturday morning, the heaviest around the afternoon rush hour.
And a reminder to drive with extra care - BC’s auto insurer says during Tuesday’s storm, the number of accident claims was nearly double that of the same day the week before.
