The BC NDP has announced that it has nominated candidates in all 93 ridings contested in the 2024 BC general election.
The party says the slate is 60 percent women, and draws on the leading voices in healthcare, local government, the labour movement, the private sector, and law enforcement.
With the election campaign officially underway, the Conservative Party’s John Rustad yesterday called out the NDP for their repeated failures in caring for seniors.
Rustad says that with BC now ranked as the weakest province in elder care, his party would enhance homecare services and support, improve long-term care facilities, and expand HandyDART service, among other things.
Election day is Saturday, October 19th.
Advance voting is scheduled for October 10th to 13th, and October 15th and 16th.
