BC Hydro is issuing a public safety notice of increased flows down Elk Falls Canyon.
The notice will be in place starting today and lasting through to July 26th for maintenance.
During that time, the community is being asked to stay away from the water flow, particularly just upstream of Elk Falls.
Community members will be able to view the falls from the safety of the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge.
