If you’ve got your tickets for the Campbell River Hospital Foundation’s Lottery in support of Just Like Home, keep your tickets handy today.

The early bird draw takes place at noon today (May 18) for a brand new Traeger Pro Series Grill package.

If you missed the early bird deadline, you could still grab tickets for the main draw and the 50/50 draw, with a jackpot currently sitting over $20,000.

The Grand Prize includes $20,000 cash, two return tickets to any WestJet Destination, and a $1000 gift card to the Travel Place/Travel Plus.

Proceeds from the lottery will again benefit the Just Like Home lodge, which will be a home-away-from-home for patients and their families who need to travel for medical care, where loved ones can support each other and bond with others through shared experience.

Currently, the Campbell River Hospital Foundation serves 32 communities of North Vancouver Island and the North Coast, and approximately 57,000 patients, and with a growing and aging population, the hospital is the first point of referral for specialized care.

During moments of crisis, substantial travel time daily combined with finding appropriate accommodation near the hospital, can contribute to increased emotional and economic stress.

Just Like Home will be a home-away-from-home, where loved ones can support each other and bond with others through shared experience together in their time of need.

Tickets can be purchased up until June 7th at Because You Care Lottery with the main draw taking place on Thursday, June 8th.
