Ten days into its 5th annual Holiday fundraising campaign, the Campbell River Hospice Society is working its way toward its goal of raising $45,000 by the end of the month.

The campaign has raised close to $17,000 so far.

The Society's services are available in client’s homes, long-term facilities, the hospital, four publicly funded hospice beds at Yucalta Lodge, and the privately funded Hospice suites at Evergreen Seniors Home.

The society works with people as young as four years old, and Executive Director Louise Daviduck, says demand for the work that they do has increased exponentially over the past few years.

The campaign runs until December 30th & the goal is $45,000. They’ve raised about $17 thousand so far.

You can make a one-time donation or become a monthly donor online at Campbell River Hospice Society, in person at 440 Evergreen Road or by calling 250-286-1121.

All donations over $20 will receive a full charitable Tax receipt.
