A job fair at the Campbell River Community Centre on Tuesday is being called a great success.
The event, put on by WorkBC Centre-North Island and North Island Employment, attracted 364 attendees, showcased nearly 50 area employers and allowed job seekers to connect with local businesses that were hiring for many different career opportunities.
WorkBC Centre-North Island staff were onsite to help job seekers navigate and feel at ease approaching employers of interest.
The effort, organizers say, highlights the community's commitment to inclusivity in the job market and the importance of career development within business.
