Campbell River RCMP have seized cash, drugs, and weapons after executing a search warrant at a home on Ebert Road earlier this month.
The home had been the scene of four suspected drug overdose deaths since 2017.
As a result of the investigation, a 66 year old Campbell River woman and a 27 year old man from the Lower Mainland were arrested.
Both were released and are scheduled for court in June.
Police seized over $3000 in cash, 17 grams of crack cocaine, 4 grams of cocaine, 13 grams of Fentanyl, and hundreds of other pills.
Numerous weapons, including two prohibited weapons, a replica firearm and ammunition were also seized from the home.
“We are extremely happy that this event ended peacefully.”, said Constable Maury Tyre.
“Recovering illegal firearms and being able to return high value stolen property, is definitely a success for our team of dedicated officers.”
Police will be recommending charges of Pointing a Firearm and Assault against the suspect who was released on an undertaking with protective conditions.
The investigation into the stolen property recovered from the location is ongoing.
