Campbell River RCMP Street Crimes Unit Makes Drug And Firearms Seizure

A man and woman from Campbell River are back in court at a later date after a drug trafficking investigation.

On September 6th, members of the Campbell River Street Crime Unit with assistance from the Major Crime Unit and Community Response Unit executed a search warrant on a location in the 900 block of Island Highway South.

Police discovered a large stash of illicit drugs, including over 100 grams of fentanyl, over 70 grams of powder cocaine, over 40 grams of crack cocaine, and a significant amount of hydromorphone pills were seized.

Police also seized a large sum of cash, firearms, replica handguns and other assorted weapons.

A 39 year old man and 40 year old woman were arrested on scene and released with a future court date.
