The City of Campbell River has released its Summer 2025 Recreation Guide with registration beginning on Monday, April 28.
The City is offering a wide range of programs, events, and activities for residents and visitors.
The summer guide covers programming from June to August at the Community Centre, Sportsplex, and Centennial Outdoor Pool, as well as events downtown and throughout the city.
The guide is available now online and registration opens at 10 am on Monday, April 28th.
Registration can be completed online, in person at the Community Centre or Sportsplex, or by calling 250-286-1161 or 250-923-7911.
Campbell River’s Recreation and Culture Manager, Robin Mitchell, says the season is packed with activities to keep kids entertained at summer camps, and splashing around at the Centennial Outdoor Pool.
“It is also filled with live music and arts events downtown with the City’s CR Live Streets events throughout July and August,” Mitchell said.
Free admission at the Centennial Pool for kids and youth continues for the 2025 summer season for Family, Everyone and Open swims.
Registration for group, private, and semi-private swim lessons is also available.
Visit Campbell River Recreation Guide to view the guide and register online beginning Monday, April 28, at 10am.
Meanwhile, summer recreation registration begins on Monday, April 28, as well for programs offered by the Comox Valley Regional District.
However, the CVRD says they are currently experiencing a payment issue at the Sports and Aquatic Centres.
Residents who are looking to register are asked to bring cash as a backup payment option or try online.
