The City of Campbell River has published its Draft 2025-2034 Financial Plan. Council will deliberate and finalize the plan beginning Tuesday morning.
The draft plan, which was created by staff under the guidance and leadership of Council, aims to balance fiscal responsibility with maintaining the core services, and driving forward Council’s strategic priorities.
It proposes a tax increase of 3.39 per cent which if approved during budget deliberations, would equate to an estimated annual increase of $81 for the average homeowner.
The public is encouraged to review the draft budget and provide written comments ahead of, or to present feedback during, the meetings. Written comments must be submitted via email to info@campbellriver.ca or in person at City Hall by noon on Monday.
You can view the draft at City of Campbell River.
