Police in Comox are looking to make an arrest after a series of complaints of a man who allegedly exposed himself while riding his bicycle.

Last Friday, August 12, 2022 at around 11:30 a.m., a complaint was received from women reporting they were walking on a path in Idiens Park near the play structure off of Idiens Way when they were passed multiple times by a man on a bicycle who allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of them.

Later the same day, just before 5:00 p.m., a second complaint was received reporting that two female youth were walking on a path parallel to Sheraton Road at Cummings Road, when they were also passed multiple times by a man, performing the same act.

The man is described as a tall, slender, fair skinned Caucasian male in his 20’s, with brown wavy hair and red facial hair, riding a dark coloured bicycle.

A third complaint was called in just after midnight on Sunday, August 14, 2022, in the Anderton and Guthrie Road area.

Police were able to contain the area and arrest a suspect, who also matched the description in the previous incidents.

It's believed the suspect is responsible for all three incidents, but police are still requesting anyone with video surveillance from residences situated along the pathways to contact the Comox Valley RCMP Major Crime Unit.
