Two people have been arrested after Comox Valley RCMP executed a search warrant at a home in Courtenay.

On January 30th, investigators from the Bike Unit and Street Crimes Unit with assistance from frontline members, and Police Dog Services, executed a search warrant at a residence on Arden Road in relation to an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

During the search, investigators seized what is believed to be fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, prescription drugs, and cash.

A 57-year-old man and 48-year-old woman arrested at the property have been released from custody.

Comox Valley RCMP say the investigation is continuing with no further information available at this time.
