The Comox Valley Regional District is putting another push on getting residents signed on to the new Home Energy Navigator program.
The District is working with the City of Courtenay and the Village of Cumberland on the plan.
Announced earlier this year, it’s designed to help homeowners understand the process to complete home energy upgrades and access rebates, while looking at ways to reduce residential greenhouse gas emissions in the Comox Valley.
If you live within one of the CVRD’s Electoral Areas, the City of Courtenay, or the Village of Cumberland, you will be able to access the Home Energy Navigator service free of charge on a first come first served basis.
It offers virtual energy consultation and reports, one on one consultation with an energy expert, along with help reviewing quotes or selecting a contractor.
You can learn more about the program at Home Energy Navigator.
