The first of a series of open houses happens today as the Comox Valley Regional District looks to review emerging directions for its Regional Parks and Trails Strategic Plan process.
Feedback will help shape how the CVRD plans for, manages, and invests in new regional parks and trails over the next 20+ years.
The drop-ins are focused on sharing what they have so far, gathering more ideas, and understanding community priorities for the future.
Today’s open house is happening at the Cumberland Chamber, from 430pm to 630pm, with others to follow in Union Bay, Comox, Courtenay, and Merville over the next couple weeks.
There is also a virtual session happening on February 8th.
A community survey is open until February 19th, available both online and in hard copy at open house events.
