The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) has launched a campaign marking the 15th anniversary of the formation of the CVRD.

#52Weeks52Actions is a year-long project focused on highlighting the work the CVRD is undertaking or has taken towards climate action and community wellbeing; two of the CVRD board strategic priorities.

February 15, 2022 marks 15 years since the Comox Strathcona Regional District was restructured into two separate regional districts: the Comox Valley Regional District and the Strathcona Regional District.

CVRD Chief Administrative Officer Russell Dyson says they decided to challenge themselves to share with residents one action per week after hearing from elected officials and residents that staff need to step up the actions being taken to make the Comox Valley a sustainable and welcoming place to live now and into the future.

You can follow along on the CVRDs Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as at comoxvalleyrd.ca/52weeks52actions.
