There is a planned water outage for some residential buildings and businesses in the Town of Comox on Monday, as part of work on the Sewer Conveyance Project.

Residents and businesses in the area of Beaufort Ave and Comox Ave. have been notified.

On Tuesday, the Comox Valley Regional District will close the intersection of Beaufort Avenue and Port Augusta Street for two days. Work will be conducted between 7am and 8pm, weather permitting.

Access through the intersection will be restricted to local residents and businesses within the construction zone, including the Comox Valley Harbour Authority and the Blackfin Pub.

It will not be possible to travel through the intersection during construction. All eastbound traffic on Beaufort Avenue will be directed south on Port Augusta Street to the Marina Park parking lot.

For more information about the upcoming construction for the Sewer Conveyance Project and to view an interactive map of the traffic impacts, visit Comox Valley Regional District.
