Still with Family Day - plans are being made to help you celebrate throughout the region,
In Courtenay, they’re offering up free entertainment and activities at the Lewis Centre, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and The LINC Youth Centre, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The facilities are across the street from each-other so you can plan to visit both places. The LINC Youth Centre will be open for a little bit of everything - including ping pong, air hockey, foosball, pool table, scootering and skateboarding. An area will also be set up for Wii Sports, family board games, crafts and other activities. The Lewis Centre is bringing in Mr. Day - a well-known children’s performer on YouTube, also known as Desmond Day. Among other activities at the Lewis Centre, Comox Valley Arts will be on hand with the "Awkward Family Photo Station.” For details on Family Day events visit www.courtenay.ca/familyday
