Cumberland Fire and Rescue held their Annual Banquet earlier this month where numerous members received awards and recognition for years of service.

Mayor Vickey Brown conveyed the Village’s deep gratitude for their service, saying she knows how much the crew is appreciated.

Chief Mike Williamson was honoured for 50 years of service, Captains Mike Bossom and Glen Rodgers, 35 and 30 years of service respectively, Steve Ellis for 10 years of service, and Simon Davies with 5 years.

Jonathan Duncan was named Cumberland’s Firefighter of the Year.
