Cumberland Fire Rescue Recruiting For Fall Training

Cumberland Fire Rescue is seeking new recruits.

The department is looking for people to join its paid volunteers, on-call firefighters and first responders. Training would begin in early October for those who sign up before September 1st.

The training and education program includes first aid, air brakes, and auto extrication. Regular members must be 18 years of age or older.
Junior members must be at least 16 years old.

Applicants must be in good health and hold a clean class 5 driver’s licence.
