Cumberland’s 2023 Roads and Utility Capital Projects have officially broken ground.
Work has started on a new water main along Union Road, from Royston Road to Cumberland Rd at the southbound Island Highway on-ramp.
Construction will last until the end of the year.
Traffic will be reduced to single lane alternating for the duration of the watermain installation.
Town officials have asked the community to be patient during the construction.
