There is a lot to do in Campbell River and the Comox Valley this Easter weekend.
The Easter Bunny will make appearances throughout the region.
On Saturday, 100.7 The Raven and the Campbell River Downtown Business Improvement Association present an Easter Celebration at Ostler Park & Spirit Square.
There is a lot going on starting at 11am, including an easter egg hunt and visit from the Easter Bunny, great food, live entertainment, bouncy cakes, face painting and more.
The first 300 kids will get free easter baskets and bubbles.
Also on Saturday, the City of Courtenay presents their Easter Promenade at the Lewis Centre from 11am to 1pm. Kids ages 1-6 years old with adults are welcome to enjoy both free activities & a ‘register-in-advance’ Easter Egg Hunt - that’s $8 per family in advance or $10 drop in.
There’s Easter Crafts, an Egg Toss, Pin the Tail on the Easter Bunny & more. To register or for more event information, call or drop by the Lewis Centre or the Florence Filberg Centre.
On Sunday, it’s Cumberland’s Hop & Seek Spring Celebration, with scavenger hunts, snacks, live music & more.
Events are from 9am-12pm at #6 Park & Coal Creek Historic Park.
There’s also an Easter Egg hunt at Strathcona Gardens on Sunday, with things there running from 12:30pm-3:30pm.
