There are multiple events for the whole family to enjoy this Easter long weekend in our listening area.

There is a lot going on in Campbell River and the Comox Valley this Easter long weekend.

The Campbell River BIA is hosting its free, all-ages Easter Celebration on Saturday from 11am to 2pm at Spirit Square and Robert Ostler Park.

It will feature an Easter egg hunt and the chance to meet the Easter Bunny, entertainment from Shoo Shoo the Clown, jugglers, and more.

The first 300 kids will receive a free basket.

Courtenay Recreation’s Easter Promenade takes place Saturday at Lewis Park, for children aged one to six years old.

It is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and it is $10 per family to attend when registering in advance or $15 for drop-ins.

The event features an Easter egg hunt, Easter-themed crafts, as well as a variety of games.

Also on Saturday, from 10am to 2pm, the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Association is hosting its annual Easter at Filberg Park event.

There will be treats, outdoor games, crafts, a lego tent, and more.

Cumberland’s Hop & Seek Spring Celebration goes from 9am to 12pm on Sunday at #6 Mine Park with live music, snacks, and scavenger hunts.
