There will be intermittent, partial road closures on South Dogwood Street, between Rockland Road and South McPhedran Road in Campbell River, beginning Thursday and running until Friday, September 13th, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The closures are for revitalization work at Dogwood Stormwater Detention Pond.
One north-bound lane will be closed, and single lane traffic will be in effect at various times between these dates.
The City says delays may occur.
The revitalization work will help maintain the Dogwood Detention Pond and allow it to continue to act as a stormwater pond that protects the nearby creek.
The work will include tree removal, road grading, invasive and sediment removal.
The Simms Creek multiuse path may also be impacted during this time.
The City is asking residents to follow all traffic controls in place along Dogwood Street and stay away from the detention pond if using the Simms Creek trail multi-use pathway.
