Our Native Land host Tchadas Leo is both Indigenous and South American has been a Vancouver Island resident for the majority of his life.
He is a first year broadcast & journalism student and the host/producer of Our Native Land.
Tchadas has many year of experience in the multimedia and broadcast industry and enjoys finding stories and meeting new people.
He says he's been able to gain extensive knowledge in Indigenous topics from food, culture, art and more.
Podcamp Toronto Chair John Leschinski says nominees like Tchadas exemplify the wealth of talent in Canada and reflects the unique attitudes, opinions, ideas, values, and creativity of Canadians.
There were over 600 entries for the awards submitted across the country with winners to be announced this fall.
