Only six weeks to go before Christmas but there's still time to improve the Christmas experience for children in need around the world.
Samaritan’s Purse is back with Operation Christmas Child.
More than 200 million children in more than 170 countries have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox since its program began in 1993.
Collection Week is on now through Sunday (Nov. 20) and Campbell River coordinator, Deana Longland, says it’s easy to take part.
Items in need include toys, school supplies & hygiene items for children in need around the world.
Shoe boxes can be picked & dropped off at participating churches in town, or at the Collection Center at Discovery Community Church.
