It’s deadline day for young, Indigenous graphic artists who want to showcase their work.
The Reconciliation Advisory Table, which includes reps from local governments and community Indigenous groups, and K’ómoks First Nation, is seeking an Indigenous youth graphic artist to help share its work with the community.
Those interested can submit a sample of their work to the Comox Valley Regional District by the end of the day, by emailing communications@comoxvalleyrd.ca.
The Advisory Table identifies actions for local governments to undertake that will work towards meaningful reconciliation, and they are looking for someone who can help tell their story through word art and design as they advance their work in support of community healing.
