It’s another week for musicians can enter a contest call to win a performance slot at either Sunfest Country or Laketown Shakedown.

To enter, acts need to upload a performance video via the contest pages, then garner votes for their submission.

The acts with the most votes per event wins a chance to play the Lakenight Stage at Sunfest Country, or the Main Stage at Laketown Shakedown.

The contest is open to all musicians; solo acts, bands, and DJs alike.

The contests, and submission pages can be found at Laketown Ranch.

The contest runs through Wednesday, April 26th.

Following the outstanding success of previous events, Laketown Ranch has solidified its place as the ultimate vacation destination in the Cowichan Valley.

Laketown Ranch features the largest permanent outdoor stage in Western Canada on a 250-acre site only minutes from Cowichan Lake.

The 2023 Laketown Shakedown will host 3 days of live music across 3 stages over the Canada Day weekend - it will include a festival village with food and other vendors, activities, multiple full-service bars, flush toilets, and showers.

The Sunfest Country Music Festival takes place over the B.C. Day weekend in August.
