North Island MLA Michele Babchuk is highlighting projects in the region that she says will address criminal activity in the community, assist individuals experiencing gender-based violence, and support Indigenous peoples recovering from trauma.
“Keeping our communities safe starts with making sure that everyone has the support they need,” said Michele Babchuk, MLA for North Island.
“The trauma-informed and culturally specific programs that we are funding help make sure that no member of our community is left behind.”
