A new date and time has been set for the North Island-Powell River all candidates debate at the Tidemark Theatre.
The debate was supposed to be held Sunday night, put on by the Campbell River and District Chamber of Commerce.
On Friday, the Chamber said that due to a scheduling conflict the debate has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 22nd beginning at 4:30pm, still at the Tidemark.
Doors will open at 4:00pm and seating will be on a first come first serve basis.
You can submit questions ahead of time to chair@campbellriverchamber.ca.
Campbell River Councillor Tanille Johnston is running for the NDP.
Johnston is on leave from council duties during the campaign. Johnston replaces Rachel Blaney on the ballot, who is not seeking re-election.
The Liberals are running Jennifer Lash, the Conservatives Aaron Gunn, the Green’s Jessica Wegg, and Paul Macknight is running for the People’s Party of Canada.
The debate will be live streamed on the Tidemark Theatre website.
A recording will be available on the Chamber’s YouTube channel following the debate.
