There’s an online session today for Cumberland residents to have a look at the Village’s Climate Action Plan.
The Village hosted a drop-in in council chambers last week. Today’s online session runs from 12pm to 1pm.
Village staff will go over what they have so far, including setting 2050 as a target to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emission, adopting the Zero Carbon Step Code to require new buildings to be more energy efficient, supporting retrofits of existing homes to clean energy use and better energy efficiency, and adding more public EV charging stations.
You can find more info at Engage Comox Valley and offer feedback until Friday.
