An online webinar will take place Monday, January 29, 2024, for Royston and Union Bay residents for updates on sewer service.

The proposed Sewer Extension South Project will connect homes and businesses in Royston and Union Bay to the Comox Valley Sewer Service.

The new regional system would also serve Union Bay Estates and K’ómoks First Nation Treaty Settlement Lands.

You can register for the seminar - running from 12pm to 1pm today - at Engage Comox Valley.

There will also be an in-person open house on Wednesday at the Fallen Alders Hall on Royston Road. Union Bay residents attended an open house last week.

The events are intended to provide updates about the collection system design, estimated costs and the timeline for the work ahead.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
