More than a few notable names as Lieutenant-Governor Janet Austin marked BC Day by announcing 14 new appointees to the Order of BC. They include Canada's first Indigenous attorney general, Jody Wilson-Raybould, Tk'emlups te Secwepemc First Nation Chief Rosanne Casimir, and soccer star Christine Sinclair. The 14 recipients, selected from nearly 200 nominations, will be honoured at a ceremony later this year at Government House in Victoria.
