Raven Country News local business of the week is “Small Hauls”, an affordable junk removal, hauling, and delivery company.

We reached Ty John, the owner, to tell us more about his business!

“We are Small Hauls, a locally owned and operated moving, hauling, junk removal and recycling company. Based here in the Comox Valley, our aim is to fill that need for a licensed ensured service provider to do all the small or large hauls locally.”

He told us they have a wide variety of customers they serve.

“We have all sorts of customers, from homeowners, AirBNB owners, Real Estate agents, property management groups, to construction companies that subcontract us to pick up their junk or go drop a bin.”

“We have big box stores that refer us out to do deliveries for furniture, mattresses, appliances.” 

John said this time of year is perfect for their services, and that they ensure anything recyclable is handled properly.

“Essentially its spring cleaning time! We are a trusted service provider, when we say we are going to be there we are there.”

“We offer affordable rates, and we participate in a recycling and donation program, so we reduce what gets put into the landfill.”

He also told us about another specific service they offer,

“One of our big services is that we do full service estate cleanup. We can really declutter, something that would take a client a couple weeks to do, we can do in half a day.”
