Campbell River RCMP has released details about a big drug bust last month.

On November 20th, the Campbell River Street Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Community Response Unit and Major Crimes Unit, executed a search warrant on a room in the 1300 block of Shoppers Row. Two people were arrested.

In total, over 900 grams of Cocaine, over 200 grams of Fentanyl, 260 Hydromorphone pills (Dilaudid) including evidence suggesting that they were diverted from safe supply, and over $26 thousand in cash was found.

In addition to the seized materials, there was also evidence of crack cocaine being made in the room and Fentanyl being dyed and diluted.

A 34 year old man was arrested and released with a first court appearance in February.

Campbell River RCMP say drug trafficking charges are anticipated for both the male and a 32 year old woman.
