If you’re making your way to the Comox Air Show this weekend, you can hop on a bus for free.
BC Transit and the Comox Valley Regional District will be offering a special to the show on Saturday.
Starting at 8:30 a.m., shuttles will be leaving every 15 minutes from the transit exchanges at North Island College and the Comox Mall. Both will service stops along the way and free parking will be available at both the College and the Comox Mall.
Shuttles will be leaving the airshow from Military Row near the Glacier Gardens Arena throughout the day until 6:00 pm.
Service on Route 1 Anfield Centre/Comox Mall will have increased frequency during the day.
Other transit routes will be running on a regular Saturday schedule.
While the shuttle is offered for free, riders are encouraged to make a donation to support the cost of providing the service. Regular fares are in effect for all other routes.
Traffic is expected to be heavy - so plan your trip accordingly - and know where to park.
