Now that the driveway and lane access letdowns have cured, they are being reopened as of today, marking the end of the detour route to the Cultural Centre.
Line painting and road markings are scheduled for this afternoon and early evening along the blocks of Maryport Ave (Egremont to Silecroft), Silecroft Road (Maryport to Beaufort), Ambleside Ave (First to Second), and First Street (Penrith to Dunsmuir) which will mark the end of construction.
Meanwhile, there is a full road closure on 16th Avenue and Petersen Road in Campbell River today, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The closure is for road work.
Traffic controls will be in place, and local access will be available.
And the City of Campbell River says the Penfield West off-leash dog park will be closed for maintenance today from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
