This Sunday, take part in the Canadian Cancer Society’s CIBC Run for the Cure.

This Sunday, take part in the Canadian Cancer Society’s CIBC Run for the Cure.

The event raises millions annually for Canadians impacted by breast cancer.

As breast cancer continues to be the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian women, touching the lives of so many families every day, the event gives families, friends & supporters the opportunity to join together to honor & celebrate their loved ones, and make a real difference.

Closest in-person event to us is in Nanaimo, but you can sign up for ‘My Run. Anywhere. Any way’, a run site for everyone, no matter where you live.

Join the River Spirit Dragon Boat team at Spirit Square in Downtown Campbell River for an event starting at 10am on Sunday.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
