Upcoming Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project Road Work

The Comox Valley Regional District has announced intersection and road closures required as part of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project.

Beginning Monday, October 7th, the intersection of Beaufort Avenue and Jane Place will be closed until Friday, October 11th to accommodate the installation of two large valve chambers. Beaufort Avenue will be closed from Stewart Street to Nordin Street.

Local residents will be provided access, however, they are being told to expect delays.

Beaufort Avenue will be closed from Jane Place to Nordin Street starting approximately October 11th and running to October 25th for the installation of the new sewer forcemain pipe.

Work will be conducted during the hours of 7:00 am until 8:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

In addition, the intersection of Lazo Road and Guthrie Road will be closed from Monday, October 7th to Wednesday, October 16th.

From October 17th to November 18th, Lazo Road will be closed from Guthrie Road to Balmoral Road.

Before that, the section from Brent Road to Guthrie Road will be opened.

That work will happen during the hours of 7:00 am until 7:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
