Comox Valley RCMP are seeking information from the public as part of an ongoing investigation into a fire that occurred in February.

It occurred shortly before midnight on Sunday, February 23rd on the 1500-block of Skeena Drive in Comox.

Constable Monika Terragni says while some time has passed since the incident, investigators have been actively pursuing various leads and examining all available evidence.

As part of the process, police have released an image and short video of an arson suspect in the hopes someone may recognize them or have information that could assist in the investigation.

Terragni notes the images are not of the highest quality but they are hopeful someone may recognize something familiar – whether it be the suspect’s clothing, build, gait, or general appearance.

You can find the post up on the Comox Valley RCMP Facebook page.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321 or  Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
